Experience community programs beyond our main locations
Our Community Programs reach individuals and families beyond the traditional YMCA health & wellness programs and extend beyond the walls of our facilities. These programs are found in all quadrants of the city and focus on areas such as:
- Youth leadership
- After-school
- Health and wellness
- Recreation
- Newcomers to Canada
- Indigenous peoples
- Global partnerships
This initiative ensures Calgarians have access to quality programs to help them belong, grow, thrive and lead. If you'd like to support these programs, contact Christy Repchuk, Major Gifts & Planned Giving, at Christy.Repchuk@calgary.ymca.ca.

Youth Engagement
Our Youth Programs provide opportunities for youth to learn and grow in a welcoming environment.

Indigenous Programs
We offer drop-in and registered programs that support Indigenous children, youth and families with cultural identity, leadership, recreation and connections to Calgary’s urban Indigenous communities.

LINC Programs
The LINC program helps newcomers to Canada improve their literacy skills - listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Through a variety of classes, newcomers gain confidence and integrate into life in Canada.

We are grateful to our sponsors, donors and funders for providing essential financial support to make these programs possible.
