Positive, caring relationships are the foundation of the Y’s child care setting. With the support of YMCA educators, children practice behaviours that support their social and emotional development. Our child care centres are a space for kids to play, challenge themselves, build resilience and grow. We are Canada’s largest child care provider and operate six licensed child care centres throughout the city.

For more information on monthly child care fees, please select a location below. Fees may vary by location and age of the child. Financial support is available for eligible families through the Alberta Childcare Subsidy program as well as YMCA Calgary’s internal financial assistance program.

YMCA Calgary recognizes that securing quality care arrangements can be challenging. While we do our best to meet each family’s needs, we cannot guarantee a space will be available when requested or that space will be available for all children following parental leave. For more information on waitlist availability, please select the child care centre of your choice in the list below.

All children registered in a YMCA Child Care Centre receive a complimentary YMCA Child Care membership. This membership grants them access to YMCA health and wellness facilities, advance registration periods, and fee discounts for YMCA Health and Wellness programs, including swimming lessons.
